How to use FaxMonSv (MonFax for Windows the 2003 Fax Service)

What is FaxMonSv

MonTel Win2003 Fax Service Monitoring service (FaxMonSv) is a windows service (see What is a service application) that provides a method whereby Faxes queued to the Windows 2003 Server Fax service from any application on the network, can be recorded and translated into data that can be used by the MonTel Server to generate MonFax or call records.

FaxMonSv is installed on the Windows 2003 Server that is running the Microsoft Fax Service, and works automatically in the background to record queued events to a log file that is read by the MonTel Server. The MonTel Server then uses that information to generate MonFax records that are picked up and used by the Client.
