Panasonic SMDR Pattern A

The TDAxxx series of drivers for Panasonic PABX systems use the Pattern A: 80 digits without call charge information. The TDA series includes TDA30, TDA100 and TDA200 drivers/receivers. The TDA30 and TDA100 were previously known as KXTDA30 and KXTDA100.

These drivers use some common code that will be modified for all as or if any more information becomes available.

Note:

Calls before and after the flash/recall/EFA signal is manually conversation are treated as two separate calls by the PABX. Trunk-to-trunk,calls by Call Transfer, FWD or DISA (recording call" and "outgoing call") are regarded as two separate calls by the PABX.

The PBX waits for a preprogrammed time period ( Call Duration Count Starting Time for LCOT [208]) between the end of dialling and start of the SMDR timer for outgoing trunk calls. When the PBX has sent out all dialled digits to the telephone company and this timer expires, the PBX starts counting the call. The drivers should be able to handle most situations, however the following settings would give the optimum information to the MonTel receivers.

Programmable Items

  • Outgoing trunk call Controls should be on. (SMDR Outgoing Call Printing [804]).
  • Incoming trunk call Controls should be on (SMDR Incoming Call Printing [805]).
  • Outgoing intercom call should be on (these can be later dropped by the MonTel server if they are not wanted).
  • Log-in/Log-out status should be off.
  • ARS dial Controls should be set to the 'user-dialled number'.
  • Caller's identification should turned on.
  • DID/DDI number Controls should be turned off.

SMDR Format

Page length should be set to the maximum value, and skip Perforation to the minimum. These settings should be turned off is possible.

Serial Interface (RS-232C) Parameters

a) New Line Code: Select "CR."

b) Baud Rate: 9600.

c) Word Length: 7

d) Parity Bit: Even

e) Stop Bit Length: 2

c) Word Length: 8

d) Parity Bit: None

e) Stop Bit Length: 1
